The Kansas Historical Society will mark October as Family History Month with a special event to help residents learn more about their ancestry.
The Kansas Ancestor Fair will be held Oct. 8 at the Historical Society in Topeka. Co-sponsors are the Topeka Genealogical Society and the LDS Family History Center of Topeka.
Whether you’re just wondering where to start, or are an experienced researcher, we’ll have lots of information and learning opportunities for everyone. Representatives from Ancestry.com will be on-site, providing mini-sessions and tips for using their website.
