Paige and I are long time Blarney Heros

On most any day of the year, Topeka is filled with a rich diversity of people of different heritages. March 17 is one exception. On St. Patrick’s Day, everyone is Irish.

Many begin their day at Blarney Breakfast. A longstanding tradition, Blarney Breakfast is the annual fundraiser for the Capper Foundation Easter Seals.

The 1st annual Mater Dei Irish Fest will take place on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 8th and Jackson in Topeka, KS. The celebration begins at 11:30a.m. at the NW corner of 8th and Jackson near Assumption Church. Festivities include a beer garden, great food, music and lots of fun.
